Looking forward to sunshine and spring? Warm up by learning about solar and savings.
The public is welcome to attend a presentation on the Sippican Community Solar Garden® project and Cooperative.
The presentation will be a part of the Orleans Renewable Energy Committee’s upcoming February 25th meeting at 5pm at the Orleans Town Hall in the Skaket Room. This offers a great opportunity for the general public to learn more about this exciting program for Southeastern Massachusetts and the thousands in savings available for those who participate as members in the Cooperative. This program is one of the best ways to directly offset all or a portion of participant’s electric bills with credits from a community solar project. The Cooperative is filling up considering the savings available, following the recent NSTAR rate increase of 29%, and with the success of the Brewster Community Solar Garden® Cooperative.
